Sarah Autrand, M.A. — Founder and CEO, Market4Demand, Inc.
Sarah Autrand, 2003-2004 President of the Silicon Valley American Marketing Association (SVAMA), the local chapter of the world's largest professional marketing association, is also Adjunct Professor of marketing communications at San Jose State University and Founder of Market4Demand and Market4Demand's Marketing Educational Series for Entrepreneurs (MESE). Ms. Autrand has over 20 years marketing, sales and management experience, 14 of which have been in technology. She has worked with leading technology companies, including DEC and Fujitsu, as well as with numerous emerging and midrange enterprises in a broad range of consumer and enterprise software categories, including authoring tools, business performance management (BPM), business process outsourcing (BPO), communications, enterprise contract management (ECM), e-commerce, education, entertainment, Internet browsers, multimedia, portals, procurement/e-procurement, productivity, security, services, and supply chain. Her areas of marketing expertise are marcom, channel marketing, demand generation strategies and programs, E-Marketing (SEM, EDM, website), and marketing strategy. Diane Robinette — President, Market4Demand, Inc.
Ms. Robinette brings twenty years of strategic marketing, management consulting, and management experience to her clients. She has worked in various industries including high tech, aerospace and defense, telecommunications, financial services, and transportation at companies such as Cisco Systems, Hewlett-Packard, Lockheed-Martin, Pacific Bell, Triton Container, and Visa International, as well as with over twenty emerging and midrange companies. Ms. Robinette has experience with a broad spectrum of technology products categories including business intelligence, customer relationship management, B2B integration/electronic data interchange, enterprise content management, enterprise contract management, enterprise application integration, supplier relationship management, supply chain management, eCommerce and Industry Standard Servers. Michael Ahearn — Vice President of Marketing, iLoop Mobile, Inc.
Michael Ahearn directs the marketing of iLoop Mobile's technology platform and mobile services, and consults with clients to formulate strategies and tactics in the mobile channel. He has a strong voice in the mobile marketing revolution, having spoken at major marketing and entertainment conferences such as Ad Tech, CTIA, the Mobile Marketing Association, the Entertainment and Media Forum, Mobile Broadband Americas and the National Sports Marketing Network. Mr. Ahearn has a wide background in both traditional and new media sales, marketing, and business development. He also brings creative talents having produced projects for major record labels, and has worked on major studio films and national broadcast advertising. Michael Becker is a leader in the mobile marketing industry. Mr. Becker is EVP of Business Development for iLoop Mobile, Inc. a leading mobile marketing software solutions provider. Michael Becker has over 16 years of technical and business development experience and has worked in the global telecommunications, medical, electronic book, and custom solution test industries. In addition to his role at iLoop Mobile, Mr. Becker sits on the Mobile Marketing Association (MMA) Board of Directors (2005, 2007), is founder and Co-chair of the MMA's Academic Outreach Committee and founder and Co-Editor of the MMA International Journal of Mobile Marketing. Rich Ghiossi
Rich Ghiossi is an independent consultant specializing in Business Intelligence Marketing and Product Management Services bringing over 25 years of high tech and marketing experience to his clients. Most recently he was Vice President of Marketing and Product Management at HyperRoll. Prior to HyperRoll, he held the role of Chief Marketing Officer for Sagent Systems and was responsible for rebuilding its marketing organization. Prior to Sagent he served as Vice President of Marketing at Whitelight Systems Inc. where he was responsible for leading its entrance into the analytic application market. As Vice President of Product Management for General Magic he launched the highly successful MyTalk voice service. Additionally, he held a variety of positions for Tandem Computer and Compaq including 3 years as Vice President of Decision Support Solutions which grew to over $100M in revenue. Scott Gilbert — Director, Business Assistance Technology Ventures Corporation
Scott Gilbert, Director, Business Assistance has worked in several high technology sectors including enterprise software, aerospace & defense, satellite communications and interactive media. Prior to joining TVC, Mr. Gilbert served as Co-founder and Director of Marketing for a predictive analysis software start-up, and as a consultant with KPMG Consulting’s High Technology Strategy Practice. Kathleen Gogan is a Partner with Topline Strategy Group. Konstantin Guericke — Co-Founder and Vice President, LinkedIn
Konstantin is a co-founder of LinkedIn. His responsibilities have included marketing, sales and LinkedIn for Groups. Currently, he is focused on LinkedIn's expansion into Europe and Asia. Prior to LinkedIn, Konstantin served as VP of Marketing at Presenter, where he led product management, product marketing and corporate marketing. Before Presenter, Konstantin was as VP Sales & Marketing responsible for the initial public launch of social software pioneer Blaxxun. Other executive roles included EVP at Caligari and Project Director of publicly-traded Micrografx. At Beresford Partners, Konstantin helped the CEOs of over two dozen high-tech startups develop their positioning and marketing strategy. Luke Hohmann, founder of Enthiosys, a Silicon-Valley based software product strategy and management consulting firm, is also a faculty member of the University of California, Santa Cruz, Extension. An internationally recognized software product expert, Luke leverages over twenty years of experience in leading all aspects of successful software product development groups, including engineering and development, product management, professional services, business development, sales support, and customer care. Lynn Hunsaker — Principal and Founder, ClearAction
ClearAction was founded by Lynn Hunsaker to help sales and marketing professionals streamline their actions based on insights about themselves and their customers. An AMA Professional Certified Marketer and ASQ Certified Quality Manager, Ms. Hunsaker has held executive marketing and quality roles in the high tech, consumer research and industrial packaging industries at market-leader Applied Materials, as well as Tragon Corporation, Business Insights and Sonoco Products Company. Her consulting clients include companies such as Accountants Inc. and Cadence Design Systems. In a career spanning 16 years, Ms. Hunsaker has developed and managed market research studies, marketing communications, product and service strategy, incentive and recognition programs, process and quality improvement, alliances and acquisitions, customer loyalty, adult education, and business interaction coaching. As president of the Silicon Valley American Marketing Association, the local chapter of the world’s largest professional marketing association, she led her team to receive the 1999 AMA Chapter Excellence Award for overall performance. In addition, Ms. Hunsaker has been a speaker on customer satisfaction internationally, and is a frequent guest instructor at several Silicon Valley universities. Ms.

Peggy King, M.A. — IT Associates
Peggy King, a freelance technology writer and editor who frequently reports on supply chain issues and the business implications of the Internet, has over 19 years writing and editing experience in the computer industry. Her feature articles have appeared in numerous trade publications including Line56, iSource Business, CIO Magazine and Pharmaceutical Executive. A former college writing instructor, Peggy began her high-tech career as a technical writer for a manufacturing software group at Digital Equipment Corporation. Later, at ASK, she also worked as a technical writer, documenting the MANMAN manufacturing resource planning system for the HP 3000 minicomputer. Peggy began a transition from technical writing to computer journalism when she became West Coast editor of HP Professional magazine. She then switched her coverage from proprietary to open systems when she served as senior editor of the UniForum industry association where she wrote a newsletter delivering in-depth coverage of the Unix and open systems market. A freelance writer since 1992, Peggy has a long history of covering network computing and the Internet. Peggy has a B.A. in English from Washington University and an M.A in English from Stanford University.

Dan Lofgren — Principal, Numerate Solutions
Mr. Lofgren's consulting firm, Numerate Solutions, provides quantitative solutions including pricing, ROI, sales tools, and business models to high technology companies. Mr. Lofgren's career spans over 20 years in Silicon Valley high technology companies, first as a software engineer and manager, then as a product manager. His specialty is enterprise software, with additional work in telecommunications, e-commerce and digital video. Mr. Lofgren recently spent four years as VP of Product Management at Open Harbor (web services for international trade facilitation), where he directed what proved to be a very challenging pricing process. Before that, he was Director of Product Management at Beyond.com, an e-commerce company. Mr. Lofgren, who undertook extensive course work in game theory, economics and statistics, earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Math from Yale University.

Dr. Stephen McElfresh — Principal and Founder, HR Futures
Dr. Steve McElfresh founded HR Futures after having served as the President and CEO of the Saratoga Institute, a leading international organization doing research and consulting on productivity measurement and improvement. Before joining Saratoga, Dr. McElfresh was the chief HR officer for SRI International, Exponent, and Friden Alcatel. He has taught at Boston College and the University of Massachusetts, and has also served on the Boards of Directors and Advisory Boards of a variety of Bay Area companies and non-profits. Dr. McElfresh, who has published many articles on HR and productivity research and findings, conducts seminars both locally and nationally on new directions for the American workforce, R&D and white-collar productivity and the challenges of managing in highly technical organizations. He holds a Ph.D. in organizational psychology from Boston College and a J.D. from the Santa Clara University.

James A. Mirowski
James Mirowski is a seasoned strategic marketer and business development professional with over 14 years of experience in the software infrastructure and Internet security area. He is currently bootstrapping the Channel Sales program and Business Development for Red Cannon Security, a security startup focusing on ultra-thin client solutions. Prior experience also includes VP of Channel Sales and Business Development for ValiCert and regional sales Director at Arcot. Mr. Mirowski has developed and managed numerous successful multi million dollar international channel partnerships. Richard Nessary is an associate with the law firm Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati. He specializes in trademark, copyright and advertising practices. Alex OsadzinskiTrinity Ventures
Alex has over 20 years' experience in computer systems and software sales, marketing, engineering and general management. He began his career in the UK at two software startups, was AT&T's European Sales Manager for its UNIX products and then started and managed Sun's marketing function in Europe. He held a number of management positions at Sun in the US, including VP Markets & Product Strategy.

After general management positions at Grass Valley Group (Tektronix) he was VP Sales & Marketing at Be. More recently, he was VP Marketing at Vitria Technology and CEO of Katmango.

Chip Overstreet — President & CEO, Encover
Chip is responsible for Encover's strategy and operations. Chip has over 17 years experience leading technology companies. Prior to Encover, Chip served as vice president of marketing & business development at Blue Martini Software, where he drove the company into key vertical segments and built strategic partnerships with independent software vendors and platform partners. Previously, he served as president and CEO of RTIME, a provider of collaborative networking software, which he sold to Sony Corporation. Prior to Sony, he held vice president of marketing and alliances roles at Open Horizon and Ochre Development, and product consulting and sales engineering roles at Oracle Corporation. Chip received a BA in economics from Stanford University. He also currently serves as the president of the Silicon Valley chapter of the Association for Service Management International.

Cindy Padnos — Director, Outlook Ventures
As a Director of Outlook Ventures, Cindy is actively investing in early and mid-stage technology companies. Her experience and focus encompasses Internet/Web 2.0, technology-enabled services, mobile and software sectors where she previously held progressively responsible positions leading up to several CEO roles. Immediately prior to joining Outlook, Cindy was a venture consultant working with top-tier venture capital firms and their portfolio companies completing new investment diligence and providing interim management during several critical CEO transitions.

Before entering the venture community Cindy gained almost 20 years of operational experience: as the founder and CEO of on-demand software company Vivant Corporation, acquired by a publicly traded company; as President and CEO of Acumen resulting in a favorable M&A transition; as founding vice president of marketing at Scopus Technology positioning it for IPO; as marketing director at IDE and Ingres and in sales management at AT&T. She also served as a management consultant to technology companies at Arthur D. Little and Booz Allen & Hamilton. Cindy earned her BA, magna cum laude, at the University of Michigan and received her MBA/MSIA with honors from Carnegie-Mellon University's Tepper School of Business. She serves on the Board of Advisors for the Tepper School of Business and represents Outlook Ventures on the Board of Xactly Corporation. She has served as an advisory board member to numerous technology companies and is currently a board advisor to The Women's Technology Cluster.

He has litigated cases in federal and state courts relating to trademarks, copyright, unfair competition, right of publicity/privacy, domain names, defamation and consumer protection. John is active in the International Trademark Association, for which he chairs its Domain Name System subcommittee. He is a contributing editor of The Intellectual Property Strategist.

After graduating from Santa Clara University in California, Dennis started his career as a consultant with Ernst and Young. Following that he moved to the high-tech arena holding direct marketing and management positions at companies like Eastman Kodak, Imation and Portera. At Portera he developed a unique work methodology and built a highly successful inside sales and lead generation team that was responsible for annual revenue streams of up to $20 million. Driven to leverage his learning to create a unique organization, he founded Catapult in 2001. As Founder and CEO Dennis provides the strategic guidance for all projects and works with clients to formulate and implement strategies that optimize returns from their lead generation and sales development efforts.

Carl T. Tsukahara, — Principal, Marketing Arts, Inc.
Carl Tsukahara is a principal at Marketing Arts, a strategic marketing consulting company. He was the initial Vice President of Marketing and tenth employee of Vitria Technology, where he led the positioning, launch, solutions strategy, and market inception of the company, as an initial advocate of the EAI software category. Mr. Tsukahara was Chief Marketing Officer at Confer Software, an e-solutions provider to the insurance and healthcare markets. While at Oracle Corporation, he was head of field marketing for Oracle's Americas and head of product marketing for the Oracle7 family of database products. Mr. Tsukahara has also held various positions in marketing, sales, and engineering at Ingres/ASK, Pacific Telesis, Stanford Telecommunications and HP, where he helped re-engineer computer and networking business divisions to help transition HP to open systems. He has provided consultative management services at companies such as Agentis Software, Business Objects, Pointbase and Verano. Mr. Tsukahara holds a degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences from the University of California, Berkeley.

Norma Watenpaugh, MBA, — Principal and Founder, Phoenix Consulting Group
Norma Watenpaugh, Principal, Phoenix Consulting Group--a firm that provides partnering and marketing consulting services tailored for today's tough economy--has extensive experience in partner strategy, alliance management and program development. Ms. Watenpaugh has built bootstrap partner programs in startup environments and has scaled those programs to handle the needs of thousands of partners, leveraging hundreds of millions of revenue. She is also an Authorized Implementation Partner of IDC's Global Software Partnering and Alliances Group and is the Chapter President of the Silicon Valley Association of Strategic Alliance Professionals. Her twenty-five years of professional experience includes executive positions as Market Development Manager at Sun Microsystems, Director of Strategic Alliances at Amdahl Corp. and Sr. Director of WW Partner Development at BEA Systems. She was a Regents Scholar at the University of Nebraska, where she holds a B.S. in Physics. She earned her MBA from Santa Clara University.

Bob Wright has over 21 years of experience in the technology industry and has held senior sales and marketing positions at leading companies ranging from early stage startups to billion dollar enterprises. Prior to founding Marketing Arts in 1993, Bob held various marketing positions, including product marketing, industry and services marketing, and corporate marketing. Through his "real-world experience," Bob developed a launch methodology for helping companies build strong competitive positions, accelerate revenues, grow market share, and increase their impact in the market. Bob, who has helped launch over 90 startups, is a frequent speaker on Launch Marketing, sits on several corporate Advisory Boards and nonprofit Boards. He has a bachelor's of science degree in Marketing.
